JLD is a Bi-Annual Publication. peer reviewed journal brings issues on content specific themes by polarizing on a theme directing to development of Library and Library Science professionals and adds value to library literature and is part of innovations and state of art updations to the field. Since beginning the JLD is part of Indian Council For Library Development (ICLD),New Delhi Which was started by Late Prof. K S Deshpande, than Chief Editor. Since 2015 the Journal was revived and is continuously publishing quality peer-viewed articles with a strong editorial board and peer team. Regularly the J L D has come with special issues on emerging themes,Libraries of various places and on Library and Information Science Professionals who have contributed to the field.
